Transferring Credits to Dallas TeleCollege

To transfer credit into Dallas TeleCollege or any other DCCCD institution to apply toward an associate degree, you must submit a sealed, official transcript from:

  • A lower division course from a regionally accredited college, university of technical school
  • A recognized placement exam such as AP, CLEP or DANTES

Acceptance and application of these credits is solely at the discretion of the Dallas TeleCollege registrar and must be based on review of official transcripts.

You must submit an official transcript from the institution where you have attempted to any college credit, whether or not you are seeking to transfer the credit.

The DCCCD has articulation (transfer) agreements with other leading distance education institutions. This ensures that you can transfer the college credits earned in your associate degree to an online institution where you may complete a bachelor’s degree.

You may wish to consider the core Associate in Arts Degree, designed for transfer. Ask an academic advisor for more information.
